I don't know how else to say it, but this site confirms a lot of my fears about how us big guys are portrayed in adult films.

We are comic relief. We're slobby, slovenly schlubs mainly interested in food. We are objects to be derided or physically assaulted because, hey, it's funny. Oh, and let's be misogynistic towards our co-stars because again, it's funny! Ha ha ha ha ha! Aren't you laughing?

I'm not.

We obviously cannot be desired because we're fat. We can't be viewed as sexy. Yeah, we might have a beautiful woman suck our cock, but it's only after a lot of other shit happens like food fights, smacking with sticks or getting shot with a garden hose.

I guess it's good to have a niche, and hey, he's shooting (or shot) these scenes. But why can't it be played straight instead of as a farce?

Review: Fuck A Fan 18

 

 



I’ve been intrigued by the concept of Immoral Production’s and Porno Dan Leal’s schtick for quite some time now. In this compilation of four scenes from the “Fuck a Fan” website, a lucky guy gets to take on one featured porn star and three “fluffers” for lack of a better term. The setup is that two or three guys compete in a silly challenge to determine who the winner is, and the winner gets to fuck a porn star.

Simple, no?

Going into this, I questioned if these truly were fans, or was this a ruse of some sort to get attention. After all, modern day reality television is not reality nine times out of ten, so why should I believe that these guys were actually amateurs?

After having watched these scenes several times, I feel it is pretty safe to say that Fuck a Fan is what it claims to be: regular guys who can travel to Southern California getting a chance to live the dream. But how does a web series translate to DVD?

What I Liked

I picked this compilation of scenes because it featured Samantha 38G, Beverly Paige and Siri in the same scene. Three big boobed cuties is what sold me on having to try this out. I appreciated the fact that they and their assets were on display. Samantha’s southern twang in particular was alluring, no question about that.

 

The women overall were more than attractive, so the talent on display was quite alluring across all four scenes. There was almost (almost) something for everyone on that front.

 
What I Disliked

The sound quality was uneven at best. Even with Dan’s yelling, the sound was hollow at points, making it hard to hear the nuances of what was being said. It sounded like it was being shot in a warehouse more than in a studio, and that could be the case.

Some of the cuts didn’t make a lot of sense. This was more noticeable in the first scene in particular, where it seemed to just end kind of abruptly. Also, the “challenges” were not show in their entirety, but I realize that they are more tangential in nature to begin with.

The muddied sound was probably my biggest complaint. I am making some allowances here knowing that this was something that was shot for the web, and that transition from a web show to something that can be watched over and over ad infinitum means that any mistakes that were in place at the time aren’t really going to be cleaned up in post.

DVD Quality

DVD featured three trailers for other Immoral Productions videos, and you get to choose which of the four scenes you get to watch. So you have that going for you, which is nice.

Overall Thoughts

I am being critical about technical issues, because I do think poor sound makes for a less than stellar production. With that being said, there is something I found charming about this compilation. I give credit to the guys who went to Los Angeles (at their own expense, I am sure) to take a chance on trying to get to have sex with porn stars. Talk about living the dream.

While somewhat over-the-top for me, the carnival barker/co-star Porno Dan does a good job with setting up the three ring circus and promotion something of a party atmosphere. The set for these scenes and the sound makes it seem like it was shot in a warehouse (or maybe in someone’s basement), but there is something about a kind of low fidelity approach to fun flickage that makes me want to watch more and more and again and again.

And who knows? Maybe I’ll get in touch with Porno Dan on Twitter and take a chance at a challenge myself one day.
