1) Get it up
2) Keep it up
3) Finish when you're told
From what I have seen, read and heard from those in the adult film industry about what it takes to be male talent.
I mean, let's be frank here: the guys are stunt cocks for the most part. Plain and simple.
And while it might not seem like it takes talent to get it up, it can. Because it's not like it's just you and your partner in a bedroom.
Between false starts and stops, and not necessarily ideal working conditions, and having multiple people standing around just watching you...it's not a simple proposal.
And having been "ordered" to cum on command while having sex before, I can tell you that finishing when you supposed to is not easy, either.
That's why you tend to see the same guys over...and over....and over again.
It's about demonstrating that you are reliable and can be counted on to cum (pun intended) when necessary.
Now, I think I will stress that these are the conditions for working in professional porn.
That doesn't mean that you can't do amateur or semi-pro filming yourself.
The quality of smaller, hand-held high definition digital video cameras and the continually falling prices of storage drives, computer hardware and editing software makes it easier and easier to break into the industry—provided you have quality product to distribute.
But, I would say, that at its core, if you're shooting b/g hardcore, a solid production will still involve male talent being able to:
1) Get it up
2) Keep it up
3) Finish when necessary.
