"It's Just Porn" Doesn't Cut It Anymore For Me

It's a refrain I've seen thrown out there as a pithy excuse, in my opinion, for allowing the actions of others to stand.

"It's Just Porn."

Three simple words that are to stand as an encapsulation of an anything goes attitude, and if you don't just acquiesce or roll with the punches, then you must just be some stodgy civilian or an insider with a burr up their ass.

It's a phrase that speaks of a high level of arrogance for those who might be voicing a complaint, or merely speaking out loud about something that bothers them and, hey, maybe it wouldn't hurt to re-examine it a little bit.

I know, I know. I am providing ammunition for those who utter this vile little phrase. In some respects, I guess I am playing right into their hands with my declaration of war on this lazy turn of phrase.

And as a civilian, I know that my words are not going to be held in any esteem.

But I just have to throw out there that just because you are in porn, it shouldn't be viewed as carte blanche to do or say stupid, offensive, ignorant things (even in the context of work) and be given a free pass for it.

As a big handsome man (BHM-although my own feeling about my handsomeness makes me reticient to use such a moniker for myself), I've lamented the standing of larger men in the world of porn.

So obviously, when I found out about Tim Von Swine's Whale Cam (or Swiney' Pigpen) project, I was, of course, thrilled to check it out and pump it up.

Oh, I know, I know; there are people out there who would gag at such a scene. It features two fat people, and that would make some folks tiny little heads explode. And not in the sense that you may think I mean, given that this is a porn blog.

A couple of weeks ago, Kelly Shibari wrote a piece for Fleshbot in which she talked up what TVS was doing. A couple of commenters wrote less than flattering things about this project. One even somehow managed to work the words "white privilige" into their rant against him. Some said he was selfish. Others thought that this project would be ruination of porn.

Really?

I just thought it was a fat guy having sex with cute chicks. But that might just be me. Since I could never, EVER, suffer from "white privilige" the use of that phrase in this situation was hamhanded at best and an attempt to take the discussion to a place it never needed to go.

As a fat dude myself, I appreciate what Tim Von Swine is trying to do. Look, if you cut aross all parts of the porn world, the simple fact of the matter is that while lots of body types show up on camera, there are NOT that many that are built like him. There just aren't.

Maybe it's because, in theory, the industry is trying to bring more women into porn, although in the hardcore, non-Vivid/non-Adam & Eve world, there are still more guys with buff gym bodies or guys with swimmers builds than guys that I would call, "average" or "everyman." And "average" or "everyman" is not code for "fat." When I use fat, I mean fat. I would bet, if you went and surveyed 1,000 scenes from a wide spectrum of sites, you simply aren't going to find more than 5% featuring fat dudes as the star—often wearing a lovely wifebeater or a t-shirt to cover up a belly.

That's just how the industry rolls. But if anyone wants to make a statement about how this ruins porn, that's ludicrous. The joy of porn is that you get to watch what you want to watch. If you don't want to see a fat dude with slimmer or average porn women, then don't watch. Don't purchase the clips if it repulses you that much. No one is holding you eyes open a la Alex DeLarge in "A Clockwork Orange" making you watch anything.

Over the past 20 years, I've seen BBW porn move from being a passing thing including on compilations of "freak show" type VHS tapes to being more and more mainstream. It has been wonderful to see such an evolution. And while it may still be a niche genre now (although the popularity and mainstreaming of it is still occurring), it is proof that change can happen over time.

I know that I want to see more guys built like me in front of the camera. For me, that's the true fantasy; to see a fat dude with an attractive woman having wild, hot sex. I hope that Tim can succeed. I hope that his work inspires other men of size to take the bull by the horns (or the camera off the tripod, so to speak) and get to filming.

Offering A Compliment Does Not Equal Wanting To Get In Your Pants



It's a hard knock life on social media sometimes for male fans. Granted, we often to it to ourselves, and I realize that the actions of a jackwadish, ignorant few leads to frustrations that the rest of us have to live with.

To the lovely ladies that I follow, please hear me out. I am not trying to offer false flattery. I am not trying to get into your pants, nor do I think that the silly words I throw out there will be enough for you to come out to Las Vegas (if you don't already live here), drop your drawers and fling yourself onto my bed in the throes of passionate, wanton lust.

Child, please. To paraphrase Chris Rock from his "Never Scared" concert and DVD, I am not that kind of guy. I never really meet and girls that want to fuck me. I just don't bring it out of them like that. When women see me that they want to fuck me, they get pragmatic about it. That is just my lot in life, and I deal with it.

I wanted to be clear, though; if I offer a comment complimenting you on a picture, or your hair, or your eyes, it's not to get in your pants. From me, it is a sincere compliment. I try not to make it fawning, or too lurid if it has to do with your naughty bits. If I'm offering a compliment, it is a compliment and nothing more.

I don't have an ulterior motive. I'm just trying to say something nice that may brighten your day.

Because even though I am awful at receiving compliments, who doesn't like to be told something positive about themselves? Be it a physical attribute or something related to personality, it's just a random act of kindness to me.

How did you get into the business? What led you into doing this, and what was your entry point (print modeling, straight into video, web modeling)?

 

I am very sexual. I have always loved sex. My boyfriend (Jack Plowher) told me that I should get into it so that I can get paid for doing what I love. So I got some photos taken of me by a couple friends of mine in the biz. I then went to the 2012 AVNs and met Platinum Puzzy and she has been instrumental in me starting my careeer. She even helped me get my first shoot with Plumperpass. 

    

Was it a difficult decision, deciding the enter the industry? Do you have any regrets about choosing this path?

I am a very sexual person. so making the decision to get into this business was a very easy one for me to make, and have no regrets about getting into it. My only regret is that I haven't done as many scenes as I would like to have, but that's about to change soon. Soon I will be making a lot more work for my fans, and I'm excited.

 

If you could change one thing about the industry (either overall, or specifically with regards to the BBW side of things), what would it be? 

 

I would try to make everyone in the industry realize that we all do the same work no matter what type of porn we are doing, and that they need to be tolerant and accepting of all colleagues even if they do porn that they aren't into or agree with. BBWs deal with this more than most

What is your definition of a fan? What obligations do fans have in supporting performers/the industry overall?

A fan is someone that knows and follows your work, and that does NOT illegally download or pirate our work. When they do that they are stealing from us and everyone that works hard to make our scenes.  A true fan would not steal.

If you could offer some words of advice to those trying to break into the industry, what would they be?

To NEVER do any free or unpaid auditions for work.  No legitimate company will ask for an audition, and anyone that asks for one is just looking for a free fuck. They will also most likely be recording it to make money off you later.

 

Interpret this question how you want, but what excites you? What makes you feel good inside?

As an aficionado and fan of BBWs, one might assume that I am going to fall into the category of liking tits, ass or bellies.

How did you get into the business? What led you into doing this, and what was your entry point (print modeling, straight into video, web modeling)?

Just like the old saying, “Curiosity killed the cat.” I’m kinda like one of those people. I’ve always had a strong sexual appetite, I love porn and was curious about the industry. I started to do research online and found sites like www.sexyjobs.com where I could post a profile. White Ghetto Films was the first company to contact me. My first scene was b/b/g in Curry Creampie 9.

Was it a difficult decision, deciding the enter the industry? Do you have any regrets about choosing this path?

 

I don’t know if I would say difficult but there are definitely important factors that I had to take in to consideration. However, I don’t regret it. If I knew then what I know now I would have entered the industry sooner.

If you could change one thing about the industry (either overall, or specifically with regards to the BBW side of things), what would it be?

 

I was totally surprised to see how much division there is in the industry overall. I thought in the industry of sex everyone would be getting along having a good damn time. I can’t change everyone’s attitude or mindset but I can do my part by not creating or entertaining the drama.

What is your definition of a fan? What obligations do fans have in supporting performers/the industry overall?

 

A true fan supports your work and comes out to events if they’re able to. I could sit here and say real fans shouldn’t go on tube sites but that’s not realistic. I’m sure there are fans who support the work and still go on tube sites as well. In my opinion the only thing fans are obligated to do is to respect us as people and our boundaries/personal space.

If you could offer some words of advice to those trying to break into the industry, what would they be?

“All that glitters is not gold.” I would tell them they need to be realistic because the industry isn’t as glamorous as it looks on the outside. You have to treat it as a business and be selective with those you do business with. Have aspirations in the industry as well as outside the industry. SAVE your money because the industry is an up and down roller coaster all the time.

Interpret this question how you want, but what excites you? What makes you feel good inside?

That I can share my passion on film for men and women to lust for. Every woman wants to be the object of someone’s desire.

What are your hobbies outside of work? How do you like to unwind? 

I’d say I’m pretty normal. I like to spend my time with friends and family; go to dinner, have some drinks, see a movie.

I’ll still be performing along with producing and directing. I’m currently working on my website now and July of 2012 I released my first independent DVD, Self-Exploited Slut Vol.1. I’m actually setting monthly goals now so that it won’t have to take 3 to 5 years to get where I want to be. 

How would you like to be remembered?

 

As that woman who remained the same and made the industry work for her, and not the other way around. I’m very pleased with the reputation that I’ve earned with those who I’ve worked with so far. If I ever start to become that person no one wants to be around I hope no one would hesitate to inform me that I’m turning into a Bitch!
